After holding management positions with two major corporations and two consulting
companies, Dale Dauten created Research Resources, a nationally-known market research
firm retained by industry leaders, including McDonalds, Procter & Gamble,
AT&T, Kodak and 3M.
Having two popular columns—one meant for management, the other for employees—has given Dale Dauten a unique appreciation for the interaction of great
management and extraordinary talent. Mr. Dauten’s weekly columns, nationally
syndicated by King Features, appear in over 100 newspapers including the Chicago
Tribune, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Denver Post, Arizona Republic, Houston Chronicle
and Minneapolis Star-Tribune.
Published by William Morrow, Dale Dauten’s books, The Max Strategy
and The Gifted Boss, have been translated into eight languages, and
read from Munich to Buenos Aires to Hong Kong. Dave Thomas of Wendy’s
paid The Max Strategy the ultimate compliment: “I hated to see
it end,” When speaking of The Gifted Boss, Ken Elkins, CEO of
Pulitzer Broadcasting, said, “It makes you rediscover the joy missing
in your career.” Dale Dauten’s latest book is The Laughing Warriors:
How to Enjoy Killing the Status Quo. His latest book BETTER THAN PERFECT™:
