Biography
Jerry Jellison, Ph.D., has been a full-time professor of social psychology at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles for over 30 years. He held previous appointments at Duke University, the University of Missouri, and the University of Texas, Austin. He has received multiple teaching excellence awards.
As president, now chairman of the board, of the USC Credit Union, Dr. Jellison has helped lead an increase from $2 million to over $400 million in assets. This real world experience informs his ideas on implementing change.
Dr. Jellison has taught his practical tools for circumventing resistance to business professionals at all levels of management world-wide for 30 years (China; India; Singapore; Indonesia; Australia; England; Germany; Italy; Canada).
Dr. Jerry Jellison's book, Overcoming Resistance, published by Simon & Schuster, was a Fortune Book Club selection and was selected as a top business book of the year. Managing the Dynamics of Change was published by McGraw-Hill in 2006. His most recent book, Life After Grad School was published by Oxford University Press in May, 2010.
