Comedian Randy Lubas began performing comedy while at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with a degree in marketing and economics. The proud son of a decorated veteran of WW II, Randy Lubas was inspired by his father's escape from poverty through the G.I. bill.
Randy Lubas' comic voice came from the rare ability to spot the ironies in life that many people seem to miss. With over a million miles traveled in his career, Randy Lubas shares his frustrations with flying; he gently pokes fun at realtors, does not leave out engineers, and even picks on himself. Randy Lubas' wry observations have landed him on national television broadcasts, with appearances on shows and networks such as Showtime, An Evening at the Improv, Improv Tonight, Prime Time Country, Nashville Now, Comedy Express, HBO's Comedy Channel, Comedy Central, and the George Schlatter's Comedy Club. Randy Lubas has performed more than 5,000 times in 40 states, across Canada, and on cruise ships all over the globe.
Randy Lubas is a favorite on the nationally syndicated Bob & Tom Radio Show and was a frequent contributor to Gabe Kaplan's Sports Nuts. Randy Lubas has written three film scripts, including Goes Around Comes Around and Skippy the Antigump, two television series, a comedy game show, a comedy stage play Love In The Valley...Not Over The Hill and has penned seven original songs. He also has written for the game show Street Smarts.
With an uncanny memory and involvement with each audience, Randy' Lubas's presentations are unique and unforgettable. He calls on the audience by name and remembers them throughout the event, and sometimes they even become the stars. He has performed for companies and organizations including Tropicana Orange Juice, the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Vancouver Grizzlies, Merck, the Virginia Bankers Association, the Association of Retarded Citizens (ARC), the AIDS Project, Von's Supermarkets, the Richmond Chamber of Commerce, the California Highway Patrol, Edwards Airforce Base, and the Harrison City Fire Department.
