He has made fundamental, innovative research contributions and pioneered the application of modern economic analysis and management methods to real estate. As a nationally-recognized expert on real estate security, investment and financing, property analysis and valuation, and strategic management, Dr. Stephen Roulac and his firm have been retained to provide both economic analysis and expert testimony in various courts, public hearings, and specialized proceedings before government, legislative and regulatory agencies. In high demand as a professional speaker, Dr. Stephen Roulac has made presentations and speeches to some 400 organizations and has been the keynote speaker or featured instructor at many significant professional forums throughout the country and abroad. His "Modern Real Estate Investment: An Institutional Approach," has been recognized as the authoritative treatise on contemporary real estate investment practice. Dr. Stephen Roulac is a leading academic and has served as adjunct professor at Texas A & M University, Texas Real Estate Research Center, and as a lecturer at the Graduate School of Management, UCLA. He served on the faculty of the Stanford Graduate School of Business for ten years, and concurrently held a joint appointment in the Department of Architecture, College of Environmental Design, and the Schools of Business Administration at UC, Berkeley. He was also an adjunct professor at Hastings College of Law. Dr. Stephen Roulac holds the CPA and CMC designations, and pursues extensive continuing education. He received his Ph.D. in Finance and Strategic Management from Stanford University, his M.B.A. with distinction from Harvard University, his JD from University of California, Berkeley, and his BA in Economics from Pomona College.
