Steve Chazin has more than 27 years of experience in marketing, sales, engineering and design of creative technology for consumers and professionals.
Mr. Chazin was personally rehired by Steve Jobs and helped return Apple to profitability, built defensive missile technology that saved countless soldier's lives during the Gulf War, saved Avid from brink of bankruptcy while building a video sharing site that predated YouTube, pioneered web services before Microsoft and sold Bowstreet to IBM, converted a failing enterprise software company into a consumer file sync product called Tubes which was later popularized by Dropbox, captured 7+ million web conferencing users which resulted in Dimdim's acquisition by Salesforce.com, was VP/GM for NortonCloud at Symantec where he delivered Norton Zone safe & easy file sharing for enterprises, and is VP of Products for Cisco's Cloud Collaboration group reimagining WebEx & Jabber.
At Dimdim, he was both Chief Marketing Officer & Chief Product Officer responsible for all product design, marketing, sales and user experience. (Acquired by Salesforce.com in 2011.)
At Adesso, he delivered Tubes, earning accolades from Walter Mossberg at the Wall Street Journal, selected for DEMO, and gained the first organic search spot for the word "tubes".
At Avid, he dramatically grew Avid’s user community, invented viral approaches to strategic markets, and drove product and corporate marketing.
Steve Chazin has rich experience helping startups, including Bowstreet achieve broader business objectives including as a successful acquisition by IBM.
At Apple, Steve held key marketing, sales and engineering roles, managed strategic partnership with Harvard Business School, and was rehired personally by Steve Jobs to rebuild Apple's marketing efforts helping return the company to profitability in the late 90’s.
Prior to Apple, Steve was section manager and principle engineer at Raytheon, responsible for the design and fabrication of supersonic missile radar domes.
