Biography
Pamela J. Gordon is President and Founder of Technology Forecasters Inc., and Lead Consultant for TFI Environment—a consultancy that helps technology companies reduce environmental impact and profit from doing so. She specializes in sustainability and the electronics contract manufacturing industry. Ms. Gordon is a popular keynote speaker, having presented at high-tech conferences in Canada, Israel, Mexico, Taiwan, and the USA. Her insights on environmental sustainability and the electronics industry have appeared in nearly 500 articles, she has been interviewed on numerous television and radio programs, and she guest lectures at several universities around the country.
Before founding Technology Forecasters Inc., in 1987, Pamela Gordon was a senior analyst at Gnostic Concepts, Inc., an electronics industry market-research firm, which at the time was part of McGraw Hill. Her 2001 book, Lean and Green: Profit for Your Workplace and the Environment, features 17 electronics companies around the world; it has been required reading at the University of California Haas School of Business. She was also a contributor to the book Positively M.A.D.: Making a difference in your organizations, communities, and the world, authoring the chapter “Creative Convincing for Corporate Change.”
