Keynoter, author, and thought-leader Pamela J. Gordon wrote the book on Lean and Green for the tech industry, co-developed DfE Online™ ― the world’s foremost design-for-environment training, and formed the Executive Think Tank on Supply Chain ― mapping a successful, responsible future for the tech industry. Since 1987, Ms. Gordon has served as Founder and President of Technology Forecasters Inc. (TFI), a strategic consulting firm helping tech and electronics companies thrive through best-practice supply chains and profitable sustainability. Ms. Gordon is a popular keynote speaker, having presented at technology and environmental conferences in China, Europe, Mexico, Middle East, and throughout North America.
Her 2001 book, Lean and Green: Profit for Your Workplace and the Environment, features 20 companies around the world and has been required reading at the University Of California Haas School Of Business. She was also a contributor to the book Positively M.A.D.: Making a Difference in Your Organizations, Communities, and the World, authoring the chapter “Creative Convincing for Corporate Change.” Ms. Gordon is a prolific author (nearly 1,000 articles to date), and is frequently quoted in Bloomberg Business, The Wall Street Journal, and other business and industry magazines.
She was recently named among the Top 10 Women of Sustainability and appointed judge for CleanTech Open. She was a key presenter in the UC Berkeley 2012 Roundtable on Electronic Supply Chain Social Impact Assessment, and is an instructor at UC Berkeley Extension courses including “Sustainable, Prosperous, Greener Corporations,” and others on the intersection between business and sustainability.
