In addition to being the Founder and CEO of ISI, Neal Thornberry serves in a part time capacity as Faculty Director for Innovation Initiatives at the Naval Postgraduate School’s Center for Executive Education in Monterey CA. Dr. Thornberry’s duties at NPS include working with the Navy and Department of Defense to encourage a strong focus on innovation.
Dr. Thornberry is also Professor Emeritus at Babson College in Wellesley, MA and a visiting lecturer at Duke University, The University of North Carolina, Northwestern, Ashridge Management College (UK), HEC (France), and Tsinghua University (China), and the Tuck School at Dartmouth.
As a result of his work in the field of innovation, he is often invited to be the keynote speaker at many events and company sponsored meetings around the world including the Kimberly-Clark Global Marketing University, ATB Annual meeting, The United States Coastguard’s annual Innovation Exhibition, DHS (Department of Homeland Security), Solid Works, the IRI Summit, HCI, The Naval War College, and the Government of Thailand.
