Biography

Since 1976, Kit Grant has written, marketed and conducted seminars, workshops and keynote addresses throughout North America and internationally. Kit Grant has delivered programs in 13 countries on four continents to more than 450,000 people, representing a variety of organizations.

Kit Grant holds both a bachelor of arts and a bachelor's of education degree, as well as master's of education degrees in both Psychology and Counseling. Kit earned the CSP (Certified Speaking Professional) designation from the National Speakers Association, and also earned the CSP (Certified Sales Professional) designation from the Canadian Professional Sales Association. Having earned both of these designations made Kit the world's first CCSSPP!

Kit served as the 2001-2002 world president and chair of the Executive Council of the International Federation for Professional Speakers comprised of the National Associations of Australia, The Baltics, Canada, Europe, New Zealand and the United States. In December 2000, Kit was inducted into the Canadian Speaking Hall of Fame as its 10th member. Fewer than 8% of the more than 5,000+ members of the International Federation for Professional Speakers have this proven track record of continuing speaking experience and expertise (and he is one of only 19 Canadians.) It is the highest earned designation in the professional speaking community.

Using his degrees in psychology and counseling, Kit Grant assists thousands of business professionals in the development of management and people skills, concentrating in the areas of customer service and sales. He has worked as a psychologist in a hospital setting, a school counselor in the public school system, a manager in the food and beverage industry and as a salesperson and sales manager for a major communications company. Kit's dynamic and enthusiastic style, coupled with his diverse background, enables him to be a positive catalyst for long-term personal and professional growth.
